be nice. curriculum
At its most basic, be nice. is a four-step Action Plan: Notice, Invite, Challenge, and Empower. This action plan helps individuals to take action when they or someone they know may be struggling with their mental health. Be nice. is a program embedded within the school community and is a useful tool for mental health awareness and suicide prevention education within schools. An evidence based study has reveled be nice. to be effective in creating a positive culture within schools with regard to mental health, resulting in increases in mental health referrals and suicide prevention behaviors.
